A homeowner from Kings Park, NY contacted Triple H stating they have several cold spots in their home and they would like us to come check it out. Our home comfort consultant Ryan performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion Ryan provided solutions for the homeowner. Triple H air sealed and insulated the attic floor with 5" of TruSoft cellulose, they then insulated the exterior walls by dense packing with TruSoft cellulose. The homeowner will now be comfortable in their home, and it will be more energy efficient.
Before & After we insulated this basement with 2 inches of SilverGlo Foam Board insulation.
This customer in Brentwood had a free home energy assessment. The customer was interested in lowering their utility bills and becoming more efficient. For this home we blew in cellulose insulation. Cellulose insulation is a heavier and denser insulation, creating a higher R-value per inch than fiberglass. For this customer we also installed an attic zipper tent. Between the blown in cellulose insulation and the attic zipper tent the customer will see an improvement in their efficiency as well as their comfort.
A homeowner in Brentwood, NY was experiencing an uncomfortable home year-round and was finding it difficult to try to make in more comfortable. After an evaluation it was determined that the insulation in their attic was old and needed to be replaced. Triple H went in and removed the old insulation, and before adding the new insulation they air sealed the whole attic to prevent air leakages. After that was done, they blew in 14” of cellulose insulation. As well as added a catwalk to a storage area for easy access. Now this homeowner should be able to easily keep his home comfortable, as well as enjoy the lower fuel and electric bills.
A resident of Smithtown contacted Triple H with comfort concerns in their home. One of the issues discovered was their attic Knee Wall had no insulation. The Knee wall is the short wall that forms a Triangular space. The floor of the Knee Wall is the ceiling of the room above it. Knee Walls are often not insulated. This space causes the room below it to stay cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Triple H used used SilverGlo between floor joists as needed on the Knee Wall and then blew in Cellulose Insulation. Now the room beneath the Knee Wall will be much more comfortable year round.
