After an evaluation for a customer in Deer Park, NY it showed that his attic wasn’t properly insulated resulting in cold drafty rooms, cold floors, and he was having a hard time heating his home. Triple H removed the old insulation. Then they sealed all the various points where air from the home leaks up into the attic and is lost. Then they blew in 12” of TruSoft Cellulose Insulation to reach optimum R-value. TruSoft will not burn, get moldy or attract pests. Now with updated insulation this home will be warmer, more comfortable, less drafty, and easier to keep comfortable resulting in lower fuel and electric bills.
This customer from West Islip, NY wanted to improve the comfort as well as the efficiency of their home. The customer's crawl space had no insulation. If a crawl space is not correctly insulated it will cause many problems for the home, discomfort in the rooms above, mold and moisture issues in the crawlspace itself are just a few. Triple H installed SilverGlo insulation on the walls of the crawl space. SilverGlo combines highly effective graphite-impregnated insulation with a built-in radiant heat barrier surface. SilverGlo will make the rooms above more comfortable and well help to prevent moisture and mold in the crawl space.
This customer from West Islip, NY was having comfort issues in their home. After assessing their house, it was determined that they need new insulation in their attic. Triple H cleaned out the attic space, air sealed the floors so there were no air leaks. This is very important because insulation doesn’t seal air leaks, so it’s important to seal all the leaks before you add your new insulation. Triple H then blew in 12” of Cellulose to reach its optimum R-value. With both being done, this home should be warmer and more comfortable year-round.
