This customer in Centerport had multiple comfort concerns about their home. After spending time evaluating the home, it was suggested that this home would benefit from blown in Cellulose insulation in the attic. This customer also uses their attic for storage so we built them a storage platform. This home owner should now be more comfortable and can continue to store items in their attic.
This home owner in Lindenhurst requested a Free Home Energy Assessment because they were experiencing cold floors and climate comfort issues. After completion of the assessment, it was decided that the home would benefit from SilverGlo and a vapor Barrier in the crawl space. By installing SilverGlo and a vapor barrier this will make the floors above warmer and the home more comfortable.
A resident of Lindenhurst was having comfort issues in their home. After an assessment it was discovered that one of the issues was their attic knee wall had little to no insulation. A knee wall space is created when a finished room is built within a sloped roof. A short wall called a “knee wall” forms a triangular space. With little to no insulation the floor of the upper level, the ceiling of the lower level and the knee wall are all cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Triple H insulated this Knee Wall with 10” Blown-In Cellulose. Also added Blocks of SilverGlo foam insulation on the walls. With this being done, this customer will have a significantly warmer upstairs in the winter, cooler rooms in the summer and less drafts. Overall this home will be more comfortable.
A homeowner from Lindenhurst, NY contacted Triple H stating that they have a 70 year old home with original insulation. The exterior walls are cold to the touch and it's cold inside the house. Our home comfort consultant Greg performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion Greg was able to provide a solution for the homeowner. Triple H air sealed and insulated the roof and knee wall with TruSoft and SilverGlo insulation. They then insulated the exterior walls with TruSoft cellulose . The home is now a lot warmer and the homeowner is much more comfortable.
