A homeowner from Port Jefferson, NY contacted Triple H with concerns about their uninsulated attic. They were aware that their attic did not have proper insulation. They were cold in the winter and warm in the summer. Our home comfort consultant Brian performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion Brian was able to provide the homeowner with a solution. Triple H air sealed and insulated the attic floor with 10” of TruSoft cellulose, then air sealed and insulated the garage sealing by dense packing with TruSoft cellulose. The homeowner will now be more comfortable and their home will be energy efficient.
This customer had a home energy assessment completed and afterwards it was determined that their attic was not insulated to the proper levels. Triple H Insulation went in and added more insulation to the space. As well as added a catwalk to the mechanicals in the space. Now this customer will save on their energy bills and be comfortable year round.

Then the team installed a TiteShell recessed light fixture cover and sealed it with ZypFoam around the edge and any holes made for electrical wires. The homeowner will now be more comfortable and their home will be more energy efficient.
