Triple H Insulation Before & After Photos

This homeowner from Merrick requested a Free Home Energy Assessment. The homeowner was experiencing cold rooms.  It was clear that this home could benefit from new insulation. After blowing in new Cellulose insulation the homeowner will feel more comfortable. 

This homeowner in Merrick, NY requested Triple H to evaluate their home. They wanted to find ways to reduce the cost of heating and cooling the home. The kneewall of this home was not air sealed or insulated. When this wall is not insulated or sealed correctly air can easily escape to the exterior portion of the home resulting in hot rooms in the summer and cold rooms in the winter. Triple H used SilverGlo insulation board because it gives a 24% higher insulation value than standard foam. The rooms of the home will be more comfortable and easier to heat and cool.

A homeowner from Merrick, NY contacted Triple H stating the rooms above their garage are freezing, there is minimal to no insulation . Our home comfort consultant Bill performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion Bill provided solutions for the homeowner. Triple H air sealed the attic floor, then insulated the attic floor with 16" of TruSoft cellulose.  The homeowner will now be comfortable in their home, and it will be more energy efficient. 

A homeowner from Jericho had requested a free home energy assessment. This home would greatly benefit from proper insulation. We used a radiant barrier to help improve this home. A radiant barrier is a reflective surface that gets installed on the vertical walls with insulation. By using a radiant barrier it could make as much as a 15 or 20 degree difference in the temperature of this attic. A radiant barrier actually reflects the heat energy back towards its source. This will make the home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. It will also help save on the cost of utilities. 

This homeowner in Jericho, NY was having comfort issues. They were feeling drafts in the basement and lower levels on his home. After an evaluation it was determined that the rim joists weren't properly insulated. The Rim Joist is the perimeter of the floor framing system along the exterior of the house. Without it being properly insulated it causes air leakage into the home resulting in cold floors, drafts, and uncomfortable rooms in the basement and lower levels. Triple H installed two part expanding spray foam on the rim joist and over sill plates to seal all air leaks from the outside. Now this home will have warmer floors, less drafts and be more comfortable year-round.
