Triple H Insulation Before & After Photos

This dirty, dusty Crawl Space was transformed into a clean, healthy environment. It is now a usable space for the homeowner. Also resulting in a less humid more comfortable home! 

This customer from Lake Ronkonkoma was experiencing comfort issues within the home. After assessing the home. It was suggested that the home would be more energy efficient if the attic insulation was upgraded. Triple H Contracting blew in Cellulose insulation. Cellulose insulation has a higher R value than fiberglass. The customer will now be much more comfortable within the home. 

A homeowner from East Meadow, NY contacted Triple H stating he has very little attic insulation. He has noticed moisture and the humidity is at 70 percent all of the time. He' is worried about his ventilation. Our home comfort consultant Brian performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion, Brian was able to provide a solution for the homeowner. Triple H air sealed the attic floor, then insulated it with 5" of TruSoft cellulose. They sealed all the ducts in the attic with mastic to reduce air exfiltration into the unconditioned space. The homeowner will now be comfortable in his home, and his home will be more energy efficient   

This home in East Norwhich, NY was uncomfortable. Since attics are vented, we should think of them thermally as outside in the winter. In summer because of the suns radiant heat, they are much worse than outside, reaching 130˚ on summer days. We need to keep an absolute boundary between our living space and the attic so inside air doesn’t move to the attic in the heating season, and heat doesn’t pass up through our ceilings in winter, and down from our ceilings in the hot summer. Triple H went to this home in East Norwich, NY to help this homeowner have a properly insulated attic space so he doesn’t have these problems. They air sealed the attic to prevent leaks, then blew in 12” of cellulose insulation to the contained space. Now this homeowner will have a warmer, more comfortable, less draft home that you’ll notice everywhere.

The Triple H production crew removed and disposed of the existing insulation inside of the crawlspace. Then, they air sealed and insulated the ceiling and knee wall with SilverGlo insulation. The homeowner will now be more comfortable in their home through all seasons, and the house will be more energy efficient year round.
