Insulation Services Before & After Photos

This homeowner from Merrick requested a Free Home Energy Assessment. The homeowner was experiencing cold rooms.  It was clear that this home could benefit from new insulation. After blowing in new Cellulose insulation the homeowner will feel more comfortable. 

A homeowner from Merrick, NY contacted Triple H stating the rooms above their garage are freezing, there is minimal to no insulation . Our home comfort consultant Bill performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion Bill provided solutions for the homeowner. Triple H air sealed the attic floor, then insulated the attic floor with 16" of TruSoft cellulose.  The homeowner will now be comfortable in their home, and it will be more energy efficient. 

A homeowner from Jericho had requested a free home energy assessment. This home would greatly benefit from proper insulation. We used a radiant barrier to help improve this home. A radiant barrier is a reflective surface that gets installed on the vertical walls with insulation. By using a radiant barrier it could make as much as a 15 or 20 degree difference in the temperature of this attic. A radiant barrier actually reflects the heat energy back towards its source. This will make the home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. It will also help save on the cost of utilities. 

During a dense pack exterior wall project, the siding is removed temporarily as necessary and an approximate 2" holes are drilled through the wall sheathing. A fill tube is inserted up and down into the wall cavity to not only fill, but dense pack the wall cavities. Dense packing is a technique that packs the insulation in very tightly. The wall cavities are dense packed with cellulose insulation which can get into all the irregular shaped cavities when packed in. The holes and then plugged and the siding is put back.
