Crawl Space Encapsulation System
The Triple H Install Crew added 10" of new blown in cellulose insulation to this attic space after air sealing all the leaks to get this attic to an optimum R-value of R49 to help the home stay more comfortable and energy efficient.
Triple H insulated this crawl space in Port Jefferson, NY with SilverGlo foam board insulation all on the walls in the crawl space. SilverGlo has graphite infused into the foam, as well as it has a radiant barrier face to reflect into heat back in. Now, this crawl space will be much warmer, as well as the floors and rooms upstairs.
A homeowner from Holbrook, NY contacted Triple H with concerns about their attic insulation. Our home comfort consultant Brian performed a free evaluation of their home. Upon completion of the evaluation Brian provided a solution to improve the attic insulation. Triple H air sealed and insulated the attic floor with 5” of TruSoft cellulose. The homeowner will now be comfortable and their home will be more energy efficient.
Prior to this customer in Sayville calling Triple H Contracting for a free home energy assessment, they were losing a lot of energy as well as money. This customer's home had no insulation in the knee walls. Knee wall spaces are typically not insulated and cause energy loss. In order to help this customer's home become more efficient SilverGlo was installed. By using SilverGlo the customer's home will be significantly warmer upstairs in the winter and cooler in the summer.
