This customer contacted Triple H about her insualtion after it got wet from an AC unit. Triple H preformed a Free Home Energy Assessment and suggested to the customer to upgrade the insulation. Triple H removed all the old and wet insulation from the attic, air sealed all the pentrations on the attic floor before blowing in 14" of TruSoft Cellulose insulation. Now that the home has been properly insulated the customer will experience a more comfortable home as well as saving on utilities.
A homeowner from Nesconset, NY contacted Triple H with concerns about the bedroom above their garage stating that its freezing. Our home comfort consultant Greg performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion Greg was able to provide a solution for the homeowner. Our production team air sealed and insulated the garage ceiling by dense packing with TruSoft cellulose. They then air sealed and insulated the attic floor with 10" of TruSoft cellulose. The homeowner will now be comfortable and their home will be energy efficient.
This customer in Oakdale had an energy assessment because her family is using a lot of electricity all year round and wanted to see how she could use less and save money. After Triple H completed the assessment it was suggested that this customer have cellulose insulation blown into their attic. By improving the insulation in the attic, the customer will see an improvement in their utility bills. Baffles were also installed to improve ventilation in the attic space.
A resident of Oakdale was interested in insulating their crawlspace. When Triple H evaluated the crawl space you could see the moldy and damaged insulation on the crawl space ceiling. When insulation in the crawl space becomes old it holds moisture and starts to fall from the ceiling. When this happens the air that was originally under the insulation is now on top of it defeating the purpose of the insulation. Triple H installed a GoldSeal Encapsulation System with SilverGlo. The vents and other air seal leaks in the crawl space are sealed and it is insulated with SilverGlo insulation. Then the crawl space encapsulation liner is installed along the dirt floor of the crawl space. The results are warmer, floors, less drafts, a quieter home and lower heating & cooling costs.
