Dense Packed Insulation in Garage Ceiling- North Bellmore, NY

A resident in North Bellmore, NY was experiencing uncomfortable rooms above their garage. After an evaluation it was determined they had no insulation in the ceiling between the garage ceiling and the rooms above. Garages are not heated, but the finished rooms above them are. So, the garage ceiling must be insulated. The result is cold, drafty floors upstairs. Triple H dense packed the ceiling with TruSoft Cellulose Insulation. The cellulose is blown in and dense packed into the ceiling. This not only compresses existing loose fiberglass batts, but the density stops airflow through the floor from air leaks.
