A homeowner from Lindenhurst, NY contacted Triple H that their attic insulation was done in the past, but not done well as they still feel drafty and cold. Our home comfort consultant Ryan performed a free evaluation of their home. Upon completion Ryan was able to provide a solution to improve the attic insulation. Triple H removed and disposed of the existing insulation in the attic, then the team air sealed and insulated the attic floor with 5” of TruSoft cellulose. They finished up by installing a layer of 4” SilverGlo along the attic deck. The homeowner will now be more comfortable and their home will be more energy efficient.

They installed a TiteShell recessed light fixture cover and air sealed and insulated the scuttle cover. The homeowner will now be comfortable in their home and it will be energy efficient.

They then installed a 2' x 2' catwalk inside of the attic in order for maintenance on mechanical systems. The homeowner will now be comfortable in their home, and it will be more energy efficient.
Cape style homes are often uncomfortable. A customer in West Babylon, NY fell victim to this house design and was freezing. Our representative Ryan went and evaluated the situation. The knee wall of the home had old fiberglass on the knee wall itself and no insulation on the floor. There was also no air sealing. Triple H Insulation air sealed all open penetrations, installed SilverGlo on the Knee wall and denspacked the roof. Cellulose insulation was added to the attic floor. al well. The home is now much more comfortable.
