Attic Insulation, Freeport, NY

A homeowner from Freeport called because there was water leakage in her attic and she also had found rodent damage in the old, original insulation. Our Home Comfort Specialist Ryan performed a free evaluation and proposed a project to make her home more comfortable. The Triple H team removed all the existing insulation, cleaned and prepared the attic space, and covered all the light fixtures with TiteShell™ Recessed Light Fixture Covers and air-sealed with our polyurethane Zypfoam. Baffles were installed, the chimney was blocked off with Foamax insulation board, and then the attic floor was dense packed 14" of TruSoft™ Cellulose Insulation. The customer's home will now be more comfortable and energy efficient year round with fresh, clean insulation.
