The homeowners from Lynbrook had a free home energy assessment to find out why they had frozen pipes in their crawlspace. They were also concerned about some of the floors being cold. In order for the homeowner to be more comfortable and to help prevent pipes from freezing Triple H Contracting used Silverglo and a radiant barrier to properly insulate their crawl space. Silverglo aids in keeping warm air in and cool air out in the winter and the cold air in and warm air out in the summer months. The radiant barriers also helps with climate control and moisture . This home will no longer have cool floors or concerns about pipes freezing in the winter.
A resident of Oceanside requested Triple H to look at their attic. The customer was experiencing comfort issues and was interested in using some of the attic for storage. This attic was not properly sealed or insulated. Triple H first air sealed all top plates and penetrations on the attic flat. Then installed baffles for proper attic ventilation. Next, Triple H build a storage platform. Finally, cellulose insulation was installed. This homeowner will now be much more comfortable in their home.
This customer from new Hyde Park requested a free in home evaluation. Upon arrival she expressed to our comfort specialist that she felt the temperature of the home was too cold. The rim joist of this home was not insulated. A rim joist is the part of the house where the floor framing rests on the foundation.This is a main source of air leakage and energy loss.We eliminate this problem by sealing & insulating the rim joist. Now that the rim joist is air sealed and insulated with spray foam the home will be warmer and more efficient.

This homeowner in Merrick, NY requested Triple H to evaluate their home. They wanted to find ways to reduce the cost of heating and cooling the home. The kneewall of this home was not air sealed or insulated. When this wall is not insulated or sealed correctly air can easily escape to the exterior portion of the home resulting in hot rooms in the summer and cold rooms in the winter. Triple H used SilverGlo insulation board because it gives a 24% higher insulation value than standard foam. The rooms of the home will be more comfortable and easier to heat and cool.
This customer from Lake Ronkonkoma was experiencing comfort issues within the home. After assessing the home. It was suggested that the home would be more energy efficient if the attic insulation was upgraded. Triple H Contracting blew in Cellulose insulation. Cellulose insulation has a higher R value than fiberglass. The customer will now be much more comfortable within the home.
Upon the request of this customer in Dix Hills, we performed an in home evaluation. This customer felt that his rooms were too cold in the winter. Triple H Contracting air sealed all penetrations of the attic floor as well as insulated the attic with Borate Cellulose insulation. By insulating and air sealing the attic properly the customer will be warmer in winter and cooler in the summer.
A customer from Dix Hills was having problems keeping his house heated and it was causing his fuel and electric bills to be high. After an assessment it was recommended that he needed new updated insulation in his attic. Triple H went in and air sealed the whole attic. Now air leaks cannot get in and cause drafts. Then Triple H blew in 14” of TruSoft cellulose insulation to reach the optimum R-value. TruSoft will not burn, get moldy, or attract pests. It fills all gaps and odd shape voids. Triple H also added a catwalk to the mechanicals on the attic flat, making it easier for the customer to access them. Now this home will be warmer, more comfortable, and the fuel and electric bills will be lower.

The insulation is treated with a nontoxic borate solution that gives the material a Class 1 fire safety rating. It is also resistant to mold and insects! This customer from Bellport had a free home energy assessment. Her main concern was the house was very cold. After completing the assessment Triple H recommended having the insulation in the attic improved. The insulation in this attic was the original insulation from 1960. Old insulation looses its R-value over time and can cause the house to be too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. Before installing new cellulose insulation, we air sealed all penetrations on the attic flat with spray foam. We also used a radiant barrier on the knee wall. Now that the attic is properly insulated the home will be much warmer in the winter. The homeowner will be more comfortable and will see an improvement in their utility bill.

This customer in Westhampton wanted to make his rooms warmer in the winter. One of the biggest causes of loss of heat is an improperly insulated knee wall. The knee wall is cold in the winter and hot in the summer because both the knee wall and floor are opened to the knee wall space typically with exposed fiberglass. To make this home more comfortable and efficient we use SilverGlo on the walls which can increase your R-value greatly. We also air sealed all floor penetrations, making the space air sealed properly. Last we used cellulose insulation. The homeowner will more be more comfortable in all four seasons of the year.
Triple H Contracting was requested to preform an in home evaluation at a home in Sag Harbor. Upon completion of the evaluation it was suggested that Borate cellulose be used to insulate the attic. Triple H Contracting removed the existing insulation in the attic, then air sealed the attic floor, as well as used blown in cellulose insulation to properly insulate the attic. For this homeowner a small storage platform was also built to give the customer a nice clean storage space. Now that this home is properly insulated the home owner will be more comfortable and the home will be more efficient.
