There are many home efficiency options to make your Nassau or Suffolk County home more comfortable. Triple H Contracting can diagnose the most cost-effective solutions for your home. If your no-cost energy audit showed air leakage or poor insulation, our home efficiency services are the answer!
There are plenty of insulation installers out there, but few have our training and experience to ensure your insulation upgrade is the right one for your unique home. We recommend two types of insulation for improving home efficiency:
This plant-based insulation is made from recycled paper products and treated to meet fire safety codes. Cellulose insulation is blown into areas requiring added insulation and is an efficient, environmentally-friendly choice.
Spray foam insulation provides protection against heat loss and seals leaks very effectively. Our technicians use special equipment that mixes two liquids together to create a foam, which is sprayed on. The insulation expands into a hard, non-toxic foam as it cures, sealing off gaps and leaks that are robbing your home of heat.
If your no-cost energy audit shows that your home is leaking air through cracks or gaps, air sealing can make a tremendous difference in comfort. Air sealing is the application of an aerosol foam sealer that is typically done before the installation of cellulose insulation. We use information from your no-cost energy audit to pinpoint tiny (and leaky) cracks and gaps that need to be sealed.
If you home is heated and cooled using a forced air system, leaky ductwork could be the cause of high energy bills and unhealthy indoor air quality. Leaky ductwork can also suck in and circulate pollutants like dust, mold and pollen that can make family members sick. Well-sealed ducts ensure that your conditioned air is going where it’s supposed to. Our team can discover and seal up escape routes.
